We are so thankful to the many people who have supported us, We are also grateful for others that have covered our story. August was and is a hectic time for us. We were interviewed in two podcasts, local media, and later this month, an international interview. As I write this, the excitement for Kelly and I build as we are looking forward to our book launch on August 21st at Congregation Sha’are Shalom in Leesburg, VA.

In the months of June through August, it is exciting to consistently make one of Amazon’s Top Release Lists, making it as high as #4 for the soft cover, and having the hard cover and Kindle version also landing within the top 25 spots. It is also gratifying to make it on one of the Best Seller Lists. Of course, all of this is based on pre-orders, but thank you to so many people for ordering the book. On August 15, 2022, our book will finally be released and available to the public for purchase.

I have to admit that I am not sure what to expect for our first public event on August 21st discussing our story as well as going into some intimate details of our family’s experiences with traumatic brain injury. I suppose writing about our thoughts and experiences is sort of hiding behind the curtain since people will read the book mostly in the privacy of their home. It is rather unique sharing our story to such a wide audience publicly for the first time.
