The answer to the above question seems obvious to me. Your life is much more important than winning a game. Apparently it is not a universal belief. The National Hockey League has been unwilling to subscribe to any concussion protocol and insists concussions are not a problem. Many of us nod our head in disbelief. Hockey has become a game of pushing each other into plexiglass barriers at high speed, falling on ice, brutal fights as well as many other violent offenses. How could concussions not be part of the game.
Boston Bruins player Jake DeBrusk neither denies nor confirms he played with a concussion during game two of the series against Toronto. He certainly implies there was an injury but never admits to it. He continued to play in order to go for the win.
