Please join us to thank
The Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad (LCVRS) Company 13, 143 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, VA 20175
20 years ago on November 27, 2001, our family was involved in a horrific car incident in Leesburg. LCVRS was there and saved the life of our 3-year-old daughter, Olivia. Every year, on or near that date, our family visits the rescue squad (link has our story) with gifts and cards to show our appreciation for the wonderful work they do every single day. This year, we would like to do something different and more substantial and are asking the community to also thank the rescue squad for their commitment in serving and protecting us.
Our goal is to gather 200 gift cards (200 cards for 20 years) for the rescue squad to present to them at their January banquet. Gift cards can ensure the volunteers have plenty of food since they spend so many long hours at the squad house. Please consider any denomination gift card that you are comfortable with for stores located in Leesburg, such as Wegmans, Giant, Safeway, Costco, Target, and Walmart or restaurants like Panera, Moe’s, Starbucks, etc. Oh, one more request, can you also have a ‘thank you’ card that we can give to the rescue squad too? That would mean so much to them!
Gift cards can be dropped off at our house (contact us if you need the address) or send a message through our website email at TheMiracleChild2001@gmail.com for arrangements (If you prefer, you can mail the gift cards directly to the LCVRS at P.O. Box 1178, Leesburg, 20177). We would like to have everything by January 7 as we are presenting the gifts and thank you notes at their banquet.
Many thanks,
Mike and Kelly Lang
